Location: ICU, St. Elizabeth's Medical Center
Schedule: 36 Hours, Rotating Day/Night Shift,7am-7:30pm/7pm-7:30am, Every 3rd Weekend

As a Registered Nurse (RN) in our 38-bed (28+10) multi-specialty Intensive Care Unit (ICU), you will play an integral role in delivering exceptional, patient-centered care. About Our Unit
Multi-Specialty ICU:
- 28 MICU/ SICU/CCU/neuro ICU beds
- 10 CTICU beds
Job Responsibilities
- Deliver nursing care in the ICU unit, including assessing, diagnosing, planning, intervening, evaluating, and educating patients
- Communicate with various health care team members, patients, and their families
- Coordinate and delegate appropriate patient care activities to inter-professional colleagues
- Update and manage patient records
- Enter and interpret computerized data/information
- Follow guidelines and policies established by BMCHS/St. Elizabeth’s nursing department
- Assist the leadership team as needed in quality improvement projects
- Licensed to practice professional nursing as a registered nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- 2 years of RN experience required in a med/surg setting
- ICU experience preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiac Life support (ACLS) certification required
- Nursing degree: Diploma, ASN or BSN (preferred), Ability to obtain BSN within 4 years
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Physical ability to meet job responsibilities
- Basic computer proficiency
- Fluency in another language a plus
