Job Summary

Schedule: Full TIme: 36 hrs.

Qualifications

  • BSN required
  • Pain Management Certification preferred
  • Procedural/Pain Management experience preferred
  • Massachusetts Registered Nurse Licensure required
  • BLS for Healthcare Providers and ACLS required
  • 3-5 years Med/Surg with Telemetry experience required
  • Excellent patient assessment skills
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Show evidence of the basic analytic thinking necessary to care for a group of patients
  • Ability to demonstrate observational skills and the ability to set priorities
  • Ability to adhere to all I.C.A.R.E. standards

Additional Job Details (if Applicable)

  • Providing longitudinal care for patients in the Pain Management Center Faulkner Campus
  • Working in a busy procedural setting providing care to pain management clinic patients. This includes teaching and care for initial, follow-up, and procedure patients (including fluoroscopy), management of intrathecal therapy, and responding to patients' requests/inquiries
  • Working collaboratively to provide excellent care to patients and families in the safest environment.
  • Triages all urgent calls, manages patient messages/calls. Sets priorities when organizing care based upon the acuity. Is aware of clinic flow and re-arranges provider schedules to accommodate the urgent care needs.
